The round table will be sponsored by the Take Back Our Union (TBOU) movement as we take a close look at the merger of HIP/GHI into the new company Emblem Health, and their plan to privatize our health care. The privatization of Emblem Health will not only increase the 1.7% transit workers are already paying for health care but will also cause more claims to be denied. Find out who stands to gain and who stands to lose if Emblem Health is allowed to become a for profit company. Find out why President Toussaint and acting President Curtis Tate are so silent on this issue that will impact transit workers health care like never before. Don’t listen to lies and rumors about TBOU come out and see for yourself what the Take Back Our Union movement is all about.
